It may not have looked like it but Marvin took a lot of damage hitting the ground. You know, after being ripped in half.
Production Soundtrack:
The Hold Steady – The Weekenders
Metric – Dead Disco
Smashing Pumpkins – Whir
Tokyo Police Club – Tessellate
Another busy week with mishandled scheduling. Thursday evening in DC at Kevin Smith’s Q&A was a blast. Lost and Fringe were awesome, respectively. I actually do have a relatively planned out “endgame” for Artificial Idiot which should play out within the next couple of weeks, tentatively.
Here’s some Musical Video-age that I’ve been rocking recently, just for kicks:
Good night, everyone!

He’s back and this time he’s REAL (aka, not just a guy in a suit or the fanciful brainchild of Aaron’s short lived stint as Trendy West Coasties co-showrunner.) It’s a shame about Marvin, but whatever, he’s a robot. Robots are never REALLY dead, right? We’ve all seen Wall-E (spoiler alert for anyone who hasn’t seen Wall-E.) But I’m getting ahead of myself.
BTW, if you’re reading this and you haven’t become a fan on Facebook, DO IT NOW!
Cheers, folks!
Cliffhanger weekend! If you know anything about the series or me in general, you know EXACTLY what’s about to happen, but bastard that I am, you’ll just have to wait til Monday to see it for yourself (and it WILL be up on Monday, I just finished both of these installments early. I’m THAT excited.)
So the new site is completely live and up to date with all the old archive files. I have to say it was a little painful going through some of the older comics. Apparently, I hadn’t really got the hang of the whole “stream of consciousness narrative” thing down yet. I think it’s much smoother nowadays. Thanks again to everyone for all the support and kind words!
Cheers!

Moments ago, the last installment of the Marty Tanenger back-catalog has been uploaded and posted. Ugh, long process but it’s finally done. Marty Tanenger Tales has officially taken up residence away from the crammed database at ComicGenesis. Thanks for all the support everyone!
It’s late on a Sunday night/Monday morning. I spent all last week temping and have a new week of job hunting to look forward to until my next temp gig on the 20th. Still trying to get the backlog filled in, working backwards I’m starting on “The David Caruso Effect part Deux.” Hopefully, all will be transferred by the end of this week.
I’m officially done updating the ComicGenesis site. The moving banner and link-in is up and hopefully all unaware traffic will start migrating over. Thanks everyone for your patience and support! Let’s make Tanenger’s new home a great one.
Cheers and good evening.
The moral of this story? Never break the heart of a robot with advanced weaponry. Also as a side note, never accept a robot side-kick that you haven’t thoroughly examined from the self professed “Doctor” that lives on your block who has spent an inordinate amount of time in the not too distant future.
Still reeling from the latest episode of LOST. Yeah, I’m THAT kind of nerd. Seriously, this season is nearing mind-blowing proportions. Anywho, hopefully this temp gig and all the massive filing I’ve been doing for the past two days won’t leave my brain in shambles (and a minimum of paper-cuts on my fingers.)
So I soldier on. I know I always say this, but Artificial Idiot could be my favorite storyline so far. Both writing and drawing. Since there’s a lack of time travel (right now) it’s easier to keep a handle on everything. Emotionally tortured robots and property damage. It doesn’t get much better than that. Actually, I think I just described Terminator 2. And that movie ALSO had time travel in it. Wow, I lose.
Cheers folks!
